NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul Beats Stephen Curry, Russel Westbrook As Best Point Guard

The Los Angeles Clippers may not have played for the NBA finals last season, but it looks like a number of fans and followers believe that Chris Paul is still the better point guard compared with Golden State Warriors and NBA Finals MVP Stephen Curry. In fact, the celebrate Los Angeles Clippers point guard also outperformed Oklahoma City Thunder star Russel Westbrook - that is, according to the point of view of the makers of EA's NBA Live 16.

The ranking of the NBA point guards was disclosed to the public by the owner of Operation Sports, Steve Noah, via social media. According to the video game creator, the Los Angeles Clippers star remains the top point guard despite Stephen Curry's accomplishments last NBA season. Chris Paul was given a grade of 95, which was followed by Oklahoma City Thunder star Russel Westbrook with 94. The same score was given to Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. Meanwhile, LeBron James' teammate in the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving, garnered 90 - the same score given to Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards' John Wall.  

"Lob City is led by one of the best playmakers in the NBA and his ratings show it," explained the developers of the game, referring to the decision to place Chris Paul at the top spot among all the point guards in the NBA. The creators added, "CP3 has the top passer rating in the game, coming in with a 96 Pass Accuracy and 94 Court Vision. His handles? Ridiculous, with a 92 Dribble. Don't forget about his deadly long-range ability: It's a 93."

Meanwhile, the entry of Paul Pierce to the Los Angeles Clippers will definitely boost the NBA team. In choosing the Los Angeles Clippers over the Boston Celtics, it appears that Paul Pierce saw better potential of working with Chris Paul in terms of cinching a spot in the playoffs and dethroning the Golden State Warriors this NBA season.

As for the widely controversial DeAndre Jordan, who made headlines in the basketball community following his decision to backtrack on the agreement with the Dallas Mavericks and re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, this season might see him taking home the MVP trophy. With a winning combination of DeAndre Jordan, Paul Pierce and Chris Paul in the Los Angeles Clippers roster, it looks like the formidable power displayed by Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James and Kevin Love as well as that boasted by the Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh team in the Miami Heat would be tested this NBA season.
