The Los Angeles Clippers have not been seen in the NBA final rounds for quite some time now - a fact that did not go unnoticed by the fans and followers of the team. With the recent acquisitions during the offseason as well as the re-signing of a couple of notable players in the NBA team, the Los Angeles Clippers would be worth watching out for this season. The presence of Paul Pierce, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan in the NBA group would definitely make the matches more exciting - a feat that could hopefully lead to the Los Angeles Clippers snagging a chance at the NBA finals.

While Blake Griffin has been one of the notable players in the NBA team, some sports analysts believe that the Los Angeles Clippers might need a roster revamp to see the group excel in the hardwood once again. With the slump currently being experienced by the Los Angeles Clippers, the front office of the management team is encouraged to determine the best strategy to revitalize the NBA team and push it to reach further heights. Blake Griffin, who has been with the Los Angeles Clippers since 2009, appears to be falling short of the expectations of many when he was drafted then. As Paul Pierce enters the Los Angeles Clippers locker room, it might be time for the NBA team to look for other veteran basketball stars instead of relying on the 26-year-old All-Star.

However, it appears that Blake Griffin is determined to stay with the Los Angeles Clippers. "This is where I got drafted and I've been here since the beginning," shared Blake Griffin in an interview with Basketball Insiders. He went on to say, "I've been with this franchise during some bad times. You know, it hasn't always been like it is now; anytime you have a chance to go from that to this, you feel invested. I'm not looking to go anywhere. With that being said, you never know [in this business]. But I'm happy here, I love it here, and I would love to finish my career here."

Although the Los Angeles Clippers have NBA All-Stars and MVPs in the team, some sports analysts still doubt the capacity of the team to actually excel. In fact, the Los Angeles Clippers can boast of a spectacular NBA team with Finals MVP Paul Pierce, Defensive Player of the Year nominee DeAndre Jordan and two-time Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford. Moreover, the Los Angeles Clippers' head coach, Doc Rivers, has been awarded with the Coach of the Year title. With these stars in mind, the Los Angeles Clippers star, Blake Griffin, still admits that the NBA team's members need to prove themselves to be considered as contenders this season. He said, "But for us, we haven't done anything and we know that." Blake Griffin further noted, "You have to earn that respect and I think we're still in the process of earning that respect and we have to accomplish something."

Apart from Blake Griffin making waves this offseason, another name rumored to be in the trading block is Jamal Crawford. Throughout the practices and trades, the Los Angeles Clippers star has been consistently mentioned as a potential trading chip for the NBA team. With still no word from the Los Angeles Clippers management addressing the rumors of the trade involving Jamal Crawford, it looks like that the NBA star might be seeking a new home sometime soon.
