However, the Miami Heat began to change their tune when the NBA team realized that trading Mario Chalmers would mean diminishing the number of veteran NBA stars in the roster. With the retirement rumors hounding Dwyane Wade and the immense pressure from other NBA teams to acquire Goran Drajic, trading Mario Chalmers might cripple the Miami Heat and cause them to become the laughing stock in the NBA community.

Hence, the Miami Heat are reportedly gauging the capacity of the newly recruited rookies in the team. Bearing in mind that Mario Chalmers offer both skill and experience to the Miami Heat roster, the NBA team intend to guarantee first whether or not the new players could take on the vet's post as effectively and notably in the games.
