The DeMarcus Cousins trade train appears to have finally come to a complete stop and his decision might have been influenced by his 2016 Rio Olympics run. With the Sacramento Kings still looking uncertain with how they plan to deal with the explosive center, the Toronto Raptors are said to have swooped in to steal the Team USA star. Can a DeMarcus Cousins trade help DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry form their own super team against the Cleveland Cavaliers dominated Eastern Conference?

The Toronto Raptors turned out to be surprise favorites in the 2015-16 NBA playoffs especially when they almost took the crown from right under LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. Although Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan failed to win the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, they made a mark in the minds of the fans and even their opponents. In fact, some sports analysts feel that the pressure of carrying the entire team might have finally gotten to the duo. Will adding DeMarcus Cousins to share the load help them beat the Iman Shumpert squad?

Rumors are rife that the rebuilding process for the Sacramento Kings could mean a DeMarcus Cousins trade. With the center offered to other NBA teams, the Rudy Gay squad is set to receive lucrative offers and possible key players to fill their lineup. However, no official comment has been given by any of the parties involved.

At the moment, DeMarcus Cousins is reportedly trying to bring the winning culture in the Sacramento Kings roster. Following his impressive performance with Team USA in the Rio Olympics 2016, the big man is expected to share tips he learned from the likes of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan and Harrison Barnes with his teammates in the Rudy Gay squad.

"It's an incredible feeling," shared DeMarcus Cousins of his Rio Olympics gold medal win. He added, "It's all worth it in the end. All the B.S., everything we went through, everybody kind of went through their own type of adversity. We all overcame it. This is the best feeling ever. Honestly, it's the best feeling ever."

Comments from Carmelo Anthony, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson attested to the growth of DeMarcus Cousins as a basketball player. In playing with A-list NBA stars, the Sacramento Kings star thrived in the hardwood court and none of his usual outbursts in games were reported. Hence, fans feel that signing with a winning team could exponentially contribute to the growth of the center.

What do you think? Should the Sacramento Kings just give in to a DeMarcus Cousins trade? Will the Toronto Raptors be the best team for the center? Can he help DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry beat the likes of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love?
