From the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James is rumored to bring his juggernaut basketball game next to the Los Angeles Lakers, purportedly to form a Superteam with Paul George and Lonzo Ball and it will happen as early as NBA Season 2018-19. King James, however, could be setting his sight on an Eastern Conference team - one that could further advance his legacy and it will be none other than the Boston Celtics.

James suiting up for the Green Team makes sense as it is "the most decorated team in NBA history is the Celtics, not the Lakers," Sports Grid reported, adding the Cavs superstar "always showed great reverence toward the franchise ... He has a fondness and great respect for the Celtics organization."

The Celtics commanding the respect of a LeBron James is unsurprising. The team has 17 NBA Finals win and James, looking to secure as many NBA rings as possible in the remaining fruitful years of his playing time, would want to increase the chance of not only landing multiple Finals gigs but also sweeping them if possible.

He could be looking to replicate the still unmatched feat by the Celtics legend Bill Russell. Of the 17 NBA titles won by Boston, Russell was actively part of the 13 and he presided over eight successful championship campaigns, Newsweek reported. It's not hard to think that in pursuit of further cementing his basketball god status, James would want to end his career in a blaze glory wearing the Celtics uniform.

"The Celtics already have a terrific nucleus of players," which should be a key factor for James to join in. And with the playmaking skills of Isaiah Thomas, the consistent contribution from the existing lineup and the obvious quest by Boston GM Danny Ainge to recruit prized talents and big names the soonest the chance is quite high that James is in for a winning ride with the Cs.

However, the Cleveland front office is unlikely to let King James bolt away again with ease. The club is well aware that James remains on the path to chasing rings and writing good history but he could be frustrated by the Superteam that the Golden State Warriors is.

So the Cavs need to make it happen and assemble a crew that will make Cleveland the team to beat - a Superteam in its own right. In a separate report, Newsweek said the Cavs can make it happen with a Big 5 lineup that will consist of Kyrie Irving, Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, Paul George and James himself. How exactly this can be achieved is a puzzle that the Cavs must solve by next year.

Otherwise, and if Cleveland tussles again with the Kevin Durant-Stephen Curry dynasty of the Warriors and fails anew on fourth try then it is a sure bet that James will packs his bags again.

Will he go west and play for the Lakers where Lonzo Ball is just waiting and Paul George could soon find his way? Or will he opt for another blockbuster switch and make history playing hoops with the Boston Celtics over the next few years?
