As the NBA 2015 season comes to a close with the Finals, this is the time to start speculating about next year.  Surely there will be a lot of trades to make certain that the 2016 season is better than ever, and a lot of the current NBA Trade Rumors have focused around the LA Lakers as well as the Miami Heat.

Let's talk about the Miami Heat.  At the beginning of the year, there were all kinds of rumors concerning trades with the team.  The Miami Herald reported that names such as Norris Cole, Chris Andersen Luol Deng, Mario Chalmers, Josh McRoberts, and Udonis Haslem have been mentioned in trade rumors in the past few days and weeks.  At the time, the Heat coach Erik Spoelstra met the rumors with just "Welcome to the NBA.  Once you get to this month [of January], rumors and stories out there are wild, and 99 percent of them don't come true."

So what is happening to the Miami Heat right now?  Well, there are always trade rumors, but from what we can tell, there could be a chance that Gordon Dragic might not return for another season, according to Yard Barker.  Then there is also a chance that Brandon Knight could be called in, as he is from South Florida and could be convinced to come back if the price is right.  Then there is the possibility of pursuing Josh Smith.

Okay, that's just some of the rumors regarding the Miami Heat, so let's talk LA Lakers.  One player that the LA Lakers could be looking at is Rajon Rondo.  He will be a free agent as of this summer and Sports World Report says that the Los Angeles Lakers, NY Knicks, Houston Rockets, and Sacramento Kings are looking at this Dallas Mavericks player.

Rondo is still one of the NBA's finest defensive players in the league, but his injuries may have caught up with him.  He is looking for a long term deal, and perhaps the LA Lakers will be the ones to give it to him.  In a separate article, Sports World Report states that the Lakers are looking at several other names besides Rondo such as Gordon Dragic and Greg Monroe, not to mention a potential Brandon Jennings trade.

When it comes to NBA Trade Rumors and the LA Lakers, the one thought on everyone's mind is Jeremy Lin.  With Lin becoming a free agent at the end of the season, Hoops Habit suggested that Lin will not return to the Lakers next season.  Part of it was Lin didn't feel used like Ronnie Price and Jordan Clarkson, even though both Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant were out on injuries.  Lin has also has several disagreements with Coach Byron Scott.  So what is next for Lin?  Perhaps he'll go to another team like the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, or Washington Wizards.

I'm sure that there is going to be a lot of NBA Trade rumors that will surface in the next year, and one can only advise a close eye on the LA Lakers and Miami Heat before the beginning of the 2016 season.
