A recent report from ESPN showed that Amar'e Stoudemire is willing to do "whatever it takes" to win. It is clear that Miami will be wanting this kind of drive when it comes to the next season, and there is going to need to be a lot of players ready for action then. In fact, Bleacher Report states that the Miami Heat look like contenders who can bow out of the Association's free-agency process, at least on paper.
It is very clear that the Heat have Goran Dragic and Dwyane Wade back with them, not to mention other star players like Chris Bosh and Hassan Whiteside, this is no time for complacency. Given this, is it possible that there will be a pairing of Dorell Wright with Gerald Green behind Dwayne Wade? Wright spent the first six years of his career with Miami before stints with three different teams over the past five seasons.
The Miami Herald has reported that there is a "great chance" he will be with the team, it doesn't look like this is something that The Heat have actively pursued. Last year, he appeared in just 48 games and received 12.4 minutes on average, but could shoot at 38 percent from deep.
Another question mark here is point guard Mario Chalmers. With Dragic being a starter, this player could be behind him as the perfect choice for backing him up. The jury is out on whether or not Miami wants to trade this man, as his $4.3 million salary could result in a tax bill three times that amount, depending on the Heat's final payroll number", according to the Miami Herald.
It sounds like the Heat are in some trouble when it comes to taxes, so Chalmers could be going. There is a lot to like about this player as he saw an average of 29.6 minutes per game and responded with 10.2 points and 3.8 assists on average while shooting 40 percent from the floor.
Sports World Report tells that Justise Winslow, a player out of Duke, has joined the team with good summer-league play. So far, not much is known about whether or not Winslow will be a reserve star or starter. More than likely Luol Deng will be the starter as Winslow comes off of the bench, and his return is predicted, even though he might not stay. It seems like the Heat is going after some serious players if they get Kevin Durant.
