Netflix plans on releasing much content for the month of February with some exciting movies, but the big one that everyone is watching for is the return of House of Cards, which starts Season 3 at the end of the month.
Before we get to House of Cards, that's look at some offerings coming out, starting on February 1st as anime fans will revel to the release of Bleach the Movie: Hell Verse as well as Naruto Shippuden: The Movie. There will also be a release of an 80's flashback with Hot Pursuit, a comedy starring John Cusack.
Another flashback, this time to the 70's, will occur as MASH joins Netflix. It will actually only be seasons 1-5 (the show had 11 seasons), which are the years of the show with Major Frank Burns. Another popular show that will join Netflix ranks will be Spartacus, the 4-season gladiator show from Starz with leads played by Liam McIntyre and the late Andy Whitfield.
Also joining the Netflix roster will be The Brothers Bloom, a con-man film from 2008 with Adrien Brody and Mark Ruffalo trying to con an heiress played by Rachel Weisz.
Mid-February will be the time of comedies as Mr. Peabody & Sherman will arrive on February 11th, with Scary Movie 5 arriving on February 12th. On February 18th, the popular family movie Earth to Echo arrives, a story that is been heralded as "This generation's E.T.". February 21st will bring the 2014 remake of the popular Robocop.
House of Cards then arrives on February 27th. I'm sure a lot of viewers are curious about Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) and whether or not he is still alive, but also the death rumors surrounding Claire (Robin Wright).
It should also be known that several shows will be disappearing from Netflix in February. These names include Apocalypse Now and Apocalypse Now: Redux. This also includes popular franchises such as some of the 90's Batman films like Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin. Many of the James Bond films are also leaving, such as A View to a Kill, For Your Eyes Only, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, and Never Say Never Again.
