The newest trailer for Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War" has been revealed at the Super Bowl 2016 and the split factions of the Avengers gave thrills to event.

The trailer opens with a door, which is followed by Chris Evans' Captain America walking. The next sequence reveals Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier in a presumably manipulated state. Then, fans see Anthony Mackie's Falcon standing on top of a building, which is followed by a sequence showing a soldier squad.

The next sequence sees Captain America in combat and some explosions in buildings, which leaves Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch in shock. Then, Robert Downey Jr. activates his Iron Man suit and it is followed by Stan's Winter Soldier shooting his luckily armored hand.

The trailer sees more explosions with Scarlett Johanson's Black Widow in a worried face. The next scene showed Downey's Iron Man removing the mask in the suit of Don Cheadle's unconscious War Machine. At this point, some fans may have speculated that the character died in the film.

The next sequence sees Evans' Captain America and Stan's Winter Soldier against Downey's Iron Man, who tells them that they had chosen the wrong side. The following scene reveals Captain America's side, which includes Mackie's Falcon, Paul Rudd's Ant-Man, Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye, Emily VanCamp's Agent 13, and Stan's Winter Soldier.

On the other hand, Iron Man's team includes Cheadle's War Machine, Johansson's Black Widow, Paul Bettany's Vision, and Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther.

According to Cinema Blend, the Super Bowl trailer was most definitely an excellent move to demonstrate the "epic tone" that the film is set to have, as well as the prime rivalries to be expected.

Spider-Man, who is played by "The Impossible" actor Tom Holland, is set to appear in the Russos' "Captain America: Civil War;" however, his exact role in the film has not yet revealed at this point. Thor and the Hulk, who are played by Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, respectively, will not appear in the film, but are going to share the big screen in Taika Waititi's "Thor: Ragnarok."

"Captain America: Civil War" centers on the release of the Sokovian Accords, which binds the Avengers and other superpowered individual with the government, following the turmoil that took place in Sokovia in Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." The said Accords is the cinematic adaptation of the Superhero Registration Act, which asks superheroes to submit themselves as registered individuals to the government, following a disaster caused by a group of overpowered beings.

Along with the Russos', "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" writers Christopher and Stephen McFeely co-wrote the screenplay.

The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6 while Waititi's "Thor: Ragnarok" is going to hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
