Fresh off their victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the opening night of the NFL regular season, the New England Patriots are now gearing up for the match against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday (September 20). The widely anticipated NFL match between the two teams this upcoming Week 2 of the season will see the Buffalo Bills serve as hosts to the New England Patriots at the Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The face off between the two NFL teams is scheduled as 1:00 pm ET.

The game on Sunday will see the New England Patriots entering the NFL match with a recent win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tom Brady successfully led his troop to a 28 - 21 victory, which saw the quarterback complete 25 passes out of 32 for 288 yards. Tom Brady also pitched in four touchdowns with zero interceptions. Meanwhile, Rob Gronkowski contributed 94 yards along with three touchdowns in five receptions. Dion Lewis added 69 yards in 15 attempts. The entire game saw the New England Patriots garner 281 yards in passing; while rushing recorded 80 yards. As for the defense of Tom Brady's team, the NFL group recorded 330.0 yards in passing with 134.0 yards in rushing.

The New England Patriots will also attend the match sans tight end Khyri Thornton. The departure of the NFL star was a move on the team of Tom Brady to accommodate the entry of Keshawn Martin in the roster. Martin is a former wide receiver of the Houston Texans. The team of JJ Watts opted to trade Martin for the fifth-round pick of the New England Patriots. The trade of Martin accompanied the waiver of the Houston Texans' sixth-round pick as well. Prior to playing with the Houston Texans, Martin was part of the Green Bay Packers which drafted the wide receiver as their third-round pick in 2014. The regular season with the New England Patriots will be Martin's fourth time in the NFL games.

Although the addition of Martin raised eyebrows among fans and followers of the New England Patriots, sports analysts believe that such move is "sensible" for the NFL team. "For the Patriots, acquiring Martin appears to be a matter of numbers and systemic similarities," noted Alec Nathan of Bleacher Report. The same sentiment was echoed by Houston Chronicle's Stephanie Stradley via social media. She wrote on Twitter, "That's good for both Martin & #Patriots. Meanwhile, the match between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots has reignited the rivalry of the two NFL teams. "It is a personal challenge because you want to go against the very best," stated Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan, referring to the team's goal of beating the New England Patriots this Sunday, according to Fox Sports.
