It seems that Rockstar Games wants to give fans a special treat for this Christmas season. The game developer will release the latest DLC of GTA V titled Executives and Other Criminals for free. The update will feature exciting and awesome in-game contents.
Long-time GTA players will definitely enjoy this new downloadable content, as it will really up their gaming experience. Players can have a chance to become a kingpin and be a living VIP. The game developer said the new update allows player to establish his own crime organization and become the king.
According to IGN, the upgrade includes new gameplay modes and luxurious list of items. Also, players can own the plush Super Yacht - a floating apartment so huge it comes with its own staff, helicopter, boat and premium vehicles.
There are also reports that say the boat can float in a number of different positions on the map. The player is also protected as it comes with its own defense system - if an opponent fly too close and they'll be shot out of the sky immediately.
Speaking of defense system, the player can hire an army of bodyguards to protect the crime ring. The update also comes with Extraction mode, which challenges the player's bodyguards to find and safely extract an "executive" from a downed jet.
As crime organization, these bodyguards will be earning a paycheck, as well as some other bonuses. Moreover, these hired goons will have benefits like P, GTA$, and statistic boosts for their efforts.
In a published article from Cnet, Rockstar said there are also Freemode events in the expansion pack. The modes are King of the Hill and Moving Target, which will automatically change when they are played by criminal organizations.
The latest update will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (but not Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) on Dec 15. The update weighs in at 1.3GB and includes a whole bunch of requested features and improvements.
The trailer posted below gives a glimpse of how to live like a very rich criminal, emphasizing how good it is to be king.
In a game review from GameSpot, GTA V received 9/10 score. The reviewer said the game has stunning Hollywood production values. The location of the game is also mesmerizing. The city of Los Santos is a spectacular choice for the setting of the game, and in its new higher-resolution guise, it's even more fanstastic.
Furthermore, Rockstar Games worked harder in making the first-person mode of the game. It's not just a novelty alternative: GTA 5 is a fully-playable FPS, complete with detailed animations for everything from gunplay to getting out player's phone, according to IGN review.
