"He [Peyton Manning] has a lot more zip," said cornerback Aqib Talib. The Denver Broncos star added, "Chris Harris (Jr.) and I were just talking about that. He's throwing that thing around this camp. He's throwing comebacks from the opposite hash."

The same sentiments were expressed by another Denver Broncos cornerback, Harris. He said, "His balls are just so perfect right now." Harris further shared, "When you got to take a pay cut, anything like that, that's going to motivate you. You definitely know he's motivated, and everybody is counting him out after what he's done. Then he had the Tom Brady thing and what he said. So he has a chip on his shoulder, too."

The Denver Broncos cornerback could only be referring to the emails sent by New England Patriots star Tom Brady to a friend. In the leaked email, which was made public due to an investigation regarding the "Deflategate" scandal in the NFL, the New England Patriots quarterback took a dig at his Denver Broncos star counterpart. Tom Brady jabbed that Peyton Manning only had two years left in his NFL career while his run in the New England Patriots will still span roughly seven or eight years.

While the email issue between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady quickly came to a close, with the New England Patriots star sending an apology to the Denver Broncos quarterback via text message, the conversation once again put the issue of retirement in the spotlight. With the recent comments by the Denver Broncos team, however, it appears that the issue is finally put to rest as Peyton Manning looks intent in proving the detractors wrong - Tom Brady included.

Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos are set to transfer defensive tackle Marvin Austin from the active players' roster to the injured reserve list, according to Denver Post. With his training camp experience with the Denver Broncos ridden with injuries, Austin's transfer to the injured reserve list is to be expected. Taking his spot in the Denver Broncos roster is Jake Murphy, a tight end acquired by the Denver Broncos from the Cincinnati Bengals. At the moment, the rumor mill reveals that the Denver Broncos are eyeing an injury settlement with Austin in an effort to allow him to become a free agent soon.
