The NFL star then went on to share that he thinks he is not alone in believing that the NFL should cut down the number of games. While Rodgers admits that the NFL preseason games are moneymakers in their own rights, the Packers quarterback thinks that the health of the football stars should be the priority.

"A lot would have to happen," discloses Rodgers. "The fans, I think, are paying close to full-price tickets. It's not just the coaches' and the players' decision."

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers provided an update on the injury of wide receiver Jordy Nelson. "It was determined that WR Jordy Nelson sustained a significant right knee injury in yesterday's game at Pittsburgh," the team announced, according to ESPN. "He will miss the remainder of the season."

With the injury of Jordy Nelson and the upcoming matches this NFL season, the Packers have been actively finding ways to replenish the loss left by the wide receiver.

In another report by CBS Sports, it was revealed that Reggie Wayne is now under consideration for Green Bay.
