The Indianapolis Colts have been disappointing fans left and right since the NFL regular season started. With the recent loss of the Andrew Luck squad against the New Orleans Saints, which resulted in a final score of 27-21, the Indianapolis Colts' roster, staff and the rest of the NFL team are contemplating on implementing an overhaul in the manner by which they handle their football games - a move undoubtedly appreciated by fans and followers of the team.
The first step presumably taken by the Indianapolis Colts is a discussion between the NFL team's general manager, Ryan Grigson, and owner, Jim Irsay, following the loss against the New Orleans Saints. However, reports disclosed that the said talks did not end well as the two camps were revealed to have been engaged in a "heated conversation."
"It's not something that we're going to bury our head in the sand and say, 'Hey everything is okay,'" said head coach Chuck Pagano, referring to the issues that cropped up during the past football matches of the Indianapolis Colts this NFL season, according to the team's official website. The Indianapolis Colts coach further noted, "It's just like everything else, we're going to look at that, we're going to look at everything. We all know what he's capable of and the player that he is and all that stuff, but again we're going to go back in there, we're going to look at him, we got to get it fixed."
Apart from the concerns about the strategies and gameplay of the Indianapolis Colts, the NFL team have been dealing with injuries ever since the season started. The latest player to get off the roster and join the injured list is Phillip Dorsett. Sources disclosed that the wide receiver will not be able to play for the Indianapolis Colts for four to six weeks due to his fractured ankle. The said injury was incurred during the disappointing match of Andrew Luck's squad against the New Orleans Saints. Due to the fracture, the rookie wide receiver was forced to abandon the football match in the second quarter in an effort not to alleviate the injury. Phillipp Dorsett is the 29th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
"I was literally just starting to get into the flow and get in the game plan more," revealed Phillip Dorsett following the announcement of his absence from the Indianapolis Colts' matches in the subsequent weeks, according to Indianapolis Star. The wide receiver added, "I was getting more involved, and we had lot more four-wide (sets) in. I was playing a little running back. Things happen. It's football. But I don't expect a drop-off when I get back."
