The Indianapolis Colts entered the NFL regular season with a bit of an underwhelming performance. However, the 35 - 33 win of the Indianapolis Colts over the Tennessee Titans during the Week 3 of the NFL regular season appears to have rekindled the faith and hope of the fans and followers of the Andrew Luck squad. As the Indianapolis Colts enter the fourth week of the NFL regular season, it remains to be seen if the aggressiveness and skill displayed by the team in Week 3 will be sustained. In what could be assumed as a move to guarantee that the winning streak be maintained, the Indianapolis Colts signed Shaun Prater in to the team.

"The Colts signed cornerback Shaun Prater Tuesday, the team's latest move intended to boost a secondary that's been limited by injuries," disclosed Zac Jackson of NBC Sports. According to the same report, the move prompted the Indianapolis Colts to waive Eric Patterson. The move to let go of Patterson is said to be necessary for the Indianapolis Colts to cope with the loss of Greg Toler and Darius Butler. Sources reveal that Toler suffered from a neck injury while Butler incurred a hip damage during the games. While the Indianapolis Colts try to remain positive and still eye the potential recovery of Butler, the NFL team also needed to ensure that they will not field an incomplete team in Week 4.

Prater was first drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2012 as the NFL team's fifth round draft pick. During his rookie year with the Cincinnati Bengals, Prater was placed in the injured reserve list during the majority of the NFL season - a situation that got him released the year after. It did not take long for Prater to settle in a new home as the Philadelphia Eagles then lured him into their NFL team.

However, the Sam Bradford squad eventually realized that Prater is not a perfect fit in the Philadelphia Eagles roster, which led to the former Cincinnati Bengals player to be waived by October 2013. Prater was then snatched by the Minnesota Vikings, where he spent the second half of the 2013 NFL season and the entire 2014. It remains to be seen if Prater will find his place in the Indianapolis roster.

Meanwhile, Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts appeared to have turned things around in their match against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. "Maybe settled down a bit and just played football," said Andrew Luck, referring to the change of attitude and rhythm of the Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN. The quarterback added, "It's hard to explain. We've been here before. I've tried to explain my interceptions are stupid plays. You get tired of talking about it and at some point just got to change that. So I think maybe that clicked and then just went out and said, 'Alright.'"

The Indianapolis Colts will play host to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday (October 4), 1:00 pm ET, at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
