The absence of Tony Romo in the Dallas Cowboys roster has been taking a toll in the NFL team. In fact, even the return of Dez Bryant failed to haul in a badly needed victory for the Dallas Cowboys over the Seattle Seahawks. Standing at 2-5 this NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys are at the bottom of the NFC East division - a rank that does not bode well for the football squad that had once been pegged as a Super Bowl contender this year. Should the Dallas Cowboys continue with its losing streak, then not even the return quarterback Tony Romo in Week 11 could save them for an embarrassing NFL season.
Apart from the absence of Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys also lost Joseph Randle. The running back had been suspended by the NFL for violating league policies. Also, reports are now surfacing that Joseph Randle is having domestic issues about his current girlfriend. While speculations are all that are available, the running back had been notably absent during the match against the Seattle Seahawks.
Although having a missing football star in the roster is not exactly an uncommon occurrence in the NFL, the reason behind the absence of Joseph Randle is unique. According to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, the running back is raising concerns regarding his mental health - a factor that the NFL team believe to be more serious than any other physical injury.
"It doesn't deserve a real knee-jerk reaction as to roster or as to future, certainly doesn't like to the future," shared Jerry Jones, referring to the effects of the current personal life status of Joseph Randle about his standing in the NFL team. The Dallas Cowboys owner further noted, "But Randle has been with us going on his third year, and we'll take that into consideration as we look at it. Let's look at the whole picture and how things have evolved. It'll be patient about just the sensitivity of anybody that's going through some trying times. Then we want to be really supportive and help when we can and not act in a way that looks like the priority would not be your health, but what about your job, what about your football team. It's up to me to soften that and let him work through these other issues."
Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks saw the entry of Darren McFadden as a substitute for Joseph Randle during the recently concluded football match. Although the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Seattle Seahawks, the performance of Darren McFadden still provided a positive sign for the flailing NFL team.
Jerry Jones pointed out that Darren McFadden was "running with authority." The Dallas Cowboys owner added, "Certainly we were giving him a lot of work out there, and it seemed like he was handling it well and just gaining, if you will, strength. He took a breather or two, but seemed like he'd come back out and was the most effective back for us out there."
The Dallas Cowboys will face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday (November 8). Scheduled at 8:30 pm ET, the Philadelphia Eagles will enter the AT&T Stadium with a 3-4 record. While Tony Romo will still be absent for the match against Sam Bradford's football team, the Dallas Cowboys are favored to win the NFL game.
