The San Francisco 49ers appear on the road to a frustrating and disappointing Super Bowl run this NFL regular season. Despite the promising NFL offseason acquisitions and practices of its football stars, it looks like the San Francisco 49ers have yet to deliver a promising performance to appease the growing anxiety among its fans and followers. Needless to say, the Sunday (October 4) game against the Green Bay Packers did not do much to salvage the shattered reputation of the San Francisco 49ers - an NFL team that now have three straight losses this regular season following a 47 - 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals and 18 - 43 defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The most recent game of the San Francisco 49ers saw them slapped with a 17 - 3 loss courtesy of the Green Bay Packers. It remains to be seen if the San Francisco 49ers can still pick up the slack in Week 5 of the NFL regular season, wherein the Colin Kaepernick squad will come face to face against Ryan Fitzpatrick's crew at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Week 5 game between the New York Jets and the San Francisco 49ers is scheduled on Sunday (October 11) at 8:30 pm ET.

One of the most notable insults hurled against the San Francisco 49ers from the camp of the Green Bay Packers in the recently concluded NFL match was from Clay Matthews in relation to the skills of Colin Kaepernick. The Green Bay Packers, upon getting confronted in the field by the San Francisco 49ers in one of the plays during the NFL match, said: "You ain't Russell Wilson, bro!" In the previous NFL seasons, football fans and followers had been engage in a debate that aimed to determine who is the superior quarterback: Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks or Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49ers. While Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts joined the fray at some point, the comparison involving the best quarterback in the NFL had been mostly limited to a match up between Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick.

While the Seattle Seahawks star practically put an end to the debates by leading his NFL team to defeat the San Francisco 49ers and helping his group become a contender for the Super Bowl in 2013 and 2014, some fans of Colin Kaepernick remain hopeful that the athlete will surpass the expectations sometime soon.

Meanwhile, it looks like the San Francisco 49ers star is more interested in helping his NFL team shape up than responding to the jabs thrown by other football players. "Study as much as I can and work as much I as I can; that's the only way I know how to fix things," said Colin Kaepernick following the game against the Green Bay Packers, referring to the plan of his NFL team in terms of moving forward after the devastating loss. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback went on to say, "Talking about things and analyzing things is good and has its place, but at the end of the day you have to work to get better."
