NFL Playoff Predictions: What the Tennessee Titans Loss Means for the Denver Broncos

Aside from the brawl that broke out at the sidelines at Sunday's game, the Denver Broncos are also still feeling the effects of the loss to the Tennessee Titans. That's because with three more games left in the regular season, the Broncos' road to the playoffs just got tougher.

The Titans entered the Week 14 game as the clear underdog in the matchup. As for the Denver squad, the team was looking to secure an AFC wild-card berth by blazing through their last few games.

However, things for the Broncos changed drastically after losing 13-10 to the Titans, a game wherein the two squads got into a brawl following an alleged dirty block by Tennessee's Harry Douglas on Denver's Chris Harris Jr., according to The Wrap.

With a very crowded wild-card berth, with multiple teams vying for the top position in the AFC division, the Denver franchise has suddenly found itself staring at an unfavorable situation that could end their hopes of making a playoff appearance, despite entering the year as the Super Bowl 50 champions.

For the last three games of the team, the Broncos will have to go up against the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders, in that order. All these three teams are at the top of the AFC division, with double-digit winnings. Among these three, the Patriots are at the top with a record of 11-2 with the Raiders and the Chiefs tied at 10-3.

Needless to say, the Broncos are probably heading into their toughest three weeks of the year, since one loss could eliminate them from the playoffs.
Even head coach Gary Kubiak knows what's in store for the team but he's still confident that Denver will be able to overcome these obstacles. He also knows that his players are aware of their situation and will do everything to reach the playoffs this season.

"From the outside looking in, a lot of people are going to say it doesn't look good," he said according to CBS Local. "I've been part of a hell of a lot worse and come out of it."

"We're going to keep battling," he added. "I'm a battler. Those guys in the locker room are battlers. We fought until the end, but we didn't play good enough to win."
