NFL Playoffs AFC Predictions: Pittsburgh Steelers to Take North, Indianapolis Colts for South

As the NFL enters the final stretch of the regular season, it's starting to become clear as to who will take the North and South crowns of the AFC division. Based on how these teams have been performing this year, it seems these titles will go to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Indianapolis Colts.

At AFC North, the Steelers are tied with the Baltimore Ravens, with the latter having a slight edge over the former. Right now, both teams are at 7-5 but their records are bound to change within the next few weeks.

For the Steelers, they're coming from a winning streak and will likely continue this as they take on the weaker Buffalo Bills later this week. However, for the Ravens, they will be going up against the New England Patriots, who are currently holding down the No. 1 spot at AFC East, according to Bleacher Report. But aside from the Patriots, the Ravens are also bound to take on the Steelers.

If the Steelers are able to keep the momentum that they currently have, then they will certainly have no problems securing the AFC North title over the Ravens.

As for the South side of the division, the Colts are emerging to be the top contender for the title. Both the Colts and the Texans are at 6-6 but the former is coming from a better last couple of weeks. Aside from enduring a three-game losing streak, the Texans are also having problems with its starting quarterback Brock Osweiler. In fact, there have already been talks about taking away Osweiler from the No. 1 spot and replacing him with his backup.

As for the Colts, quarterback Andrew Luck is currently having a good time despite coming off from an injury. He recently led the team in a victory against the New York Jets and he could use this momentum to roll over the Texans when they face off at Week 14.

Osweiler, on the other hand, still continues to struggle on the field with his inconsistent plays and hesitation to execute his moves. These could be detrimental to the team's fate as the NFL rolls into the playoffs period.
