The Cleveland Browns have just suffered their fifth consecutive loss at Week 5 and according to insiders, the team might make a significant change to its defensive line by trading away cornerback Joe Haden. Some of the teams that might offer a deal include the Carolina Panthers and the Washington Redskins.

The Browns are currently having a very bad season after extending their losing streak on Sunday during a game against the New England Patriots. At the hands of returning quarterback Tom Brady and the rest of the New England Squad, the Browns lost the game 13 to 33.

Because of the disappointing start of the season, the Patriots' officials could be looking at making a major change with the team lineup starting with a possible trade for Haden.

Haden, of course, is a superstar among the Browns but it seems he's not enough to change the team's current path.

One of the teams that would greatly benefit from a trade involving Haden are the Carolina Panthers, who are about to enter Week 5 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Like the Browns, the Panthers doesn't have a stellar record with only one win under their belt.

Also, last week, the team decided to release Bene Benwikere after losing to the Atlanta Falcons. With him gone, the team no longer has an experienced cornerback to lead its rookies Zack Sanchez, James Bradberry and Daryl Worley.

Adding Haden to the roster will provide a suitable mentor for these guys as well as a boost in Carolina's defensive line.

Another franchise that might be interested in signing Haden are the Washington Redskins. In the Week 5 game against the Baltimore Ravens, the team lost cornerback Josh Norman to an injury to his right arm. Currently, it is not yet clear if he will be able to play against the Philadelphia Eagles next week or how long he will be out due to his injury.

Given the fact that the Redskins are already looking at a very shallow bench for its secondaries, Norman's injury causes a huge blow to Washington's lineup. If the Browns are really shopping around Haden, this opportunity could work well for the Redskins since it will give them a reliable replacement for Norman.
