Last Sunday, the Cleveland Browns tried out Terelle Pryor's quarterback skills during the game against the Miami Dolphins. Given his performance, he could serve as the team's new temporary starting QB, with Cody Kessler as his backup.

Like many teams in the NFL, the Browns are currently struggling with their QB lineup. This began following Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown's injury.
Because of this, the team was forced to turn to Kessler as its new starting quarterback.

Fearing another injury, the Browns pulled out Kessler during their game against the Dolphins and appointed Pryor, a wide receiver, as a backup quarterback.
Although the Browns still lost to the Dolphins, Pryor was still able to hold his own at the QB spot. He displayed incredible versatility in his plays and was still able to rack up 26 passing yards.

Due to the way he played in last Sunday's game, the Browns could continue experimenting with Pryor at the QB post. He could even serve as the team's starting quarterback in the next few games while Kessler waits on the bench as his backup.

Of course, if this happens, it will probably not be permanent. Pryor could hold on to a quarterback position until Griffin or McCown returns to playing condition. But then again, given their current status, the Browns might just resort to bringing in a new quarterback either through a trade or free agency.

As for Pryor, this wasn't the first time that he played quarterback. Back in 2011, he was drafted by the Oakland Raiders as a quarterback. He played this position again during the 2015 season when he was still with the Cincinnati Bengals.

However, despite his impressive performance last Sunday, he blames himself for the loss that the Browns suffered at the hands of the Dolphins.

"I made a couple of errors today and I'm very mad at myself," he said after the game. "I let my team down, period. That's the only way I can put it."

"Yeah, I was a quarterback, I got released four times," he added. "The game was almost taken away from me. When I'm at home, it makes me want to tear up sometimes."
