NFL Trade Rumors: Dallas Cowboys Desperate For Ex-Oakland Raiders Star Darren McFadden Recovery, NFL Team Fear Joseph Randle Subbing DeMarco Murray

The departure of DeMarco Murray left a Dallas Cowboys position open to aspiring running backs Darren McFadden and Joseph Randle.

The Dallas Cowboys have been grappling to find NFL stars to replace the spot vacated by running back DeMarco Murray who opted to join the Philadelphia Eagles following the expiration of his contract with the former. With the position serving a crucial part of the Dallas Cowboys' gameplays, fans and followers of the NFL team are eager to see who will be chosen to fill in the loss. Hence, the Dallas Cowboys are looking into the matter seriously and have come up with two potential NFL stars to replace the now Philadelphia Eagles star: Joseph Randle and Darren McFadden.

Earlier this week, McFadden was reported to have incurred yet another injury. It could be recalled that the health of the NFL star has been one of the major reasons behind the decision of the Oakland Raiders to release him from the team. With news surfacing regarding his hamstring injury - an issue that has plagued him for years in the NFL, it appears that the Dallas Cowboys may have made the wrong call acquiring the former Oakland Raiders running back.

However, the injury concerns were later shoved off the scene as McFadden is reportedly out of the PUP list and back in the field. While it remains to be seen whether or not his hamstring issues will continue to cause trouble in his NFL run this season, the running back appears to be extremely excited to be back on the field alongside his Dallas Cowboys teammates.

"It's very hard," shared McFadden, referring to the period he spent watching the rest of the Dallas Cowboys practice and play in the field, according to The Dallas Morning News. The former Oakland Raiders star added, "I'm the type of guy who wants to be out there with my teammates and seeing how they grind the way they do, I want to be out there and be a part of that." The Dallas Cowboys running back further noted that he is truly glad to be back in training with the NFL team and is "just looking forward to getting out there and just being better every day."

As for Randle, the Dallas Cowboys star is currently dealing with more pressing concerns outside his health. According to USA Today, Randle is actually extremely confident that he can outperform not only McFadden but also, and more impressively, Murray himself. Stating that he has always known that the day the Dallas Cowboys will pick him to replace Murray would come, the NFL star shared that he used the waiting period to try "to make it happen every day."

However, one issue that fans of the Dallas Cowboys are concerned about is the tendency of Randle to get off the straight and narrow path. It could be recalled that the Dallas Cowboys star had been involved in criminal charges in the past NFL season. The month of October saw him getting arrested for shoplifting a bottle of cologne and an underwear while February pushed Randle's name in the spotlight as the NFL athlete was busted for possession of marijuana. With these issues in mind, the Dallas Cowboys would have to take into consideration the reliability of Randle and the potential effects of additional duties under his name.
