The Michael Vick free agency campaign appears to have come to an end. Impressively, it looks like the veteran quarterback actually got his wish for his NFL return. That is, a Michael Vick contract has been said to be offered by the Denver Broncos - the recent Super Bowl champions and definitely a contender team. Can he relive his glory days in the Paxton Lynch squad?

The underwhelming preseason of Mark Sanchez disappointed a lot of football fans especially those who believed that he could redeem himself from his low moments in the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles. However, his fumbles appear to still plague him and his loss of the starting job to third stringer Trevor Siemian proved it. With a Mark Sanchez trade expected to happen soon, the Denver Broncos are on the lookout for a good quarterback to help them defend their Super Bowl title.

This is where Michael Vick comes in. Once the Mark Sanchez trade goes through, the Denver Broncos will be left with only Paxton Lynch to serve as backup for Trevor Siemian. While the rookie is talented, his inexperience in pro football could be the downfall of the former Peyton Manning team. Hence, they would need someone capable to take over. Will it be Michael Vick?

"If the call was made today, I would be ready tomorrow," said Michael Vick of his training throughout the offseason. He further shared, "The hardest part would be leaving my wife and the family, but I still love football. I want to dedicate 2016 to football as I'm doing now. It takes a lot of dedication to do what I'm doing and come out here and work out as hard as I can. It's tough not being signed, but I have optimism. I just have to be ready. I'm putting everything I have into this because I love it."

Could the 36-year-old quarterback be the answer to the problems of the Denver Broncos?

Despite naming Trevor Siemian as their starter, rumors are rife that Gary Kubiak is not all that confident of the former Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler backup. With a Super Bowl trophy to defend, the Denver Broncos are expected to choose a more dominant leader. Could this be Michael Vick?

The answer remains unclear. At the moment, no official comment from the parties involved has been released. For now, the Denver Broncos have yet to decide on what to do with Mark Sanchez after the success of Trevor Siemian. It remains to be seen if he will be kept in the NFL team or they are confident enough to field Paxton Lynch as second in command.

Meanwhile, Michael Vick is still a free agent. Aside from the Denver Broncos, other teams linked to the veteran quarterback include the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.
