Following Monday's loss to the Oakland Raiders, fans of the Denver Broncos are starting to wonder if the team will make a drastic roster change soon. If it decides to do so, then there's a chance that rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch might start instead of Trevor Siemian.

Despite being last year's Super Bowl champion, the Broncos still continue to struggle with their offense this season. Of course, this is largely due to the fact that they lost their two key quarterbacks during the offseason.

However, since then, the Broncos claimed that they have bounced back with Siemian and Lynch bringing the much-needed depth in their QB bench. Unfortunately though, this isn't what happened at Week 9.

During the match against the Raiders, Siemian failed to complete less than half of his 37 passes, according to CBS Sports. As the quarterback of the squad, his failure to connect will certainly have a devastating effect on the team's offense, which is exactly what happened after the Broncos lost by 10 points.

Due to Siemian's inconsistency, it's probably time for the Broncos to experiment with a roster change by bringing in Lynch as a starter. This could begin at Week 10 when they take on the New Orleans Saints, a team that's also struggling this season.

At this point, Lynch is already more than ready to take on the starting post for the Broncos. He had already proven this during Denver's preseason finale. Although the Broncos lost that game against the Arizona Cardinals, Lynch was still able to perform well by completing 13 out of his 22 passes for 214 yards.

If the Broncos continue to lose games, coach Gary Kubiak will probably be forced to bring in Lynch and take out Siemian. But, for now, Kubiak has noted that the team will be sticking with Siemian as its main passer.

"I feel really good about what Trevor is doing," he said. "We are all looking to be more consistent."

"I believe in what we're doing, I believe in our people... just need to keep battling and get better at what we're doing," he added.
