The Green Bay Packers faced danger following the injury of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers earlier this NFL season. As the once undefeated football squad struggled to keep themselves from ruining their unblemished record this year, the absence of Rodgers still substantially affected the said team. Moreover, the three consecutive losses of the Green Bay Packers in the hands of the Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers and Detroit Lions following their six-game winning streak proved to be alarming.

However, it looks like Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers teammates finally got their act together. In a blowout match against the Minnesota Vikings, which resulted in a spectacular 30-13 victory for the struggling Green Bay Packers, the Eddie Lacy squad slammed shut their detractors.

"Maybe we'll get you guys off our back for a couple days," said Rodgers following the game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to Fox Sports. The Green Bay Packers quarterback added, "We've been taking it on the chin, rightfully so, the last three weeks after a couple real poor performances. This was an important week for us. We really stuck together." Rodgers when on to state that he believes the critics helped improve their performance. He shared that they sometimes "play a little better" when their fans and followers begin to question their abilities.

With the injury of Rodgers and the way his leadership had been questioned as of late, the Green Bay Packers are rumored to be scouting potential backup quarterbacks. Among the football stars reportedly considered for the post in Tim Tebow. A standout player during his stint with the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, Tebow has been said to be on the list of some NFL teams looking for a reliable quarterback. Apart from the Green Bay Packers, the Denver Broncos are also claimed to be interested in signing Tebow. The Philadelphia Eagles are also reported to be eyeing a deal with the NFL hopeful.

Meanwhile, Lacy also showed a glimpse of his former notable self. Before the match against the Minnesota Vikings, the running back disclosed that he has been making progress regarding improving his execution of plays in the field. However, Lacy was quick to note that he still has a long way to go before he sees himself fit enough to lead once again the Green Bay Packers.

"I was able to make like cuts at the line, but when it came to opening up and bursting downfield, I didn't feel as comfortable with it," revealed Lacy via AL.com. He further noted, "But today I was able to do that, and like I said, was just moving in a positive direction. I felt good today. My (position) coach (Sam Gash) said I was moving good, I was looking good. So it's a step in the right direction."

Lacy also shared his concerns regarding his performance - pointing out that he is aware of the struggles he faced this season and how these have been affecting their NFL team. He said, "As an athlete, you want to be good all the time. You want to be able to make big plays all the time. When things happen that's hindering you from doing that, it (stinks), and you get down a little bit. But, I mean, it's the NFL. It happens. It's all about getting out of the slump and how you get out of the slump."
