The Philadelphia Eagles appear to have finally found a way to resolve their quarterback drama by signing a Michael Vick minimum contract this NFL offseason. With both Carson Wentz and Sam Bradford leaving much to be desired in the gridiron, the former DeMarco Murray squad seems to have opted to step it up and choose a veteran star known for dominating the league. Will Michael Vick prove to be truly better than Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck?

While Michael Vick suffered from issues off the gridiron, the former Atlanta Falcons star is no stranger to hard work and a winning attitude. More importantly, the veteran quarterback is not new to the system of the Philadelphia Eagles. Spending years with the roster immediately after his court issues in 2009, the 36-year-old achieved redemption in the now Sam Bradford squad. Is he back to once again prove his critics wrong?

"I'm blessed to be 36 and still be able to move the way I do," said Michael Vick of his current condition. The former New York Jets star added, "I'm trying to use that to my advantage, keep an edge. I'm trying to make sure I'm covering my bases on everything. It's never too late to learn new things."

While a Michael Vick contract might seem like a logical move for the Philadelphia Eagles, both parties have yet to comment on the NFL rumor. At this point, the only thing certain in relation to the free agent's status is his desire to join a winning team.

"I'm going to continue to stay optimistic about my 2016 season and try to enjoy it," shared Michael Vick. He further disclosed, "I wouldn't say that I would go to any of the 32 teams. At this point in my career I would love to play for a contender. If anything, you've just got to be willing to make a contribution. In the NFL, that's what it's all about."

With these comments, some fans of the Philadelphia Eagles feel that their NFL team might not be in the running in the Michael Vick contract campaign. Due to the drama brought about by the Chip Kelly era, which saw the exit of DeMarco Murray, the football team failed to impress last season. Does this mean that Michael Vick might not consider the Philadelphia Eagles as a potential landing spot?

The answer remains unclear. On the one hand, the Philadelphia Eagles offer a talented young roster where Michael Vick can leave a legacy by training either Sam Bradford or Carson Wentz. On the other hand, rumors are rife that different NFL teams are now calling the veteran including the New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers.
