NFL Rumors: Philadelphia Eagles to Fire Chip Kelly? Head Coach Frustrates Sam Bradford, DeMarco Murray

The devastating loss of the Philadelphia Eagles in the Thanksgiving match against the Detroit Lions has left fans wondering about the future of the Sam Bradford team. Before the start of the NFL regular season, the DeMarco Murray football squad held the promise of a Super Bowl trophy. With head coach Chip Kelly calling the shots, fans of the Philadelphia Eagles looked forward to a revolutionized team and an unprecedented playing style.

It appears, however, that Kelly may have bitten off more than he can chew. As things stand at the moment, it looks like the Philadelphia Eagles head coach's radical roster choices and personnel hiring are taking a turn for the worse. The Mark Sanchez football squad now holds a 4-7 record following their third straight loss courtesy of the Detroit Lions.

"I'm a coach, not a player," said Kelly, according to ESPN. He added, "It starts with me. I'm not pointing fingers at anybody, and I don't think anybody points fingers at anybody [else]. I think once you start pointing fingers and saying you blame it on somebody else, then you've lost what you have to do." Further taking on the responsibility, Kelly shared that he still has confidence and trust in his NFL stars.

He said, "I have confidence in those players. I've seen them play before. I have a lot of confidence in those guys. I think we have some really good guys. I told those guys in the locker room that I have confidence in them."

Meanwhile, the stars in the Philadelphia Eagles roster may be feeling the heat this NFL season. With the continuing slide of the football squad towards the bottom of the rankings, sports analysts believe that Kelly might need a bit more of restructuring in terms of placing his players in the right places. That is, the Philadelphia Eagles head coach should take a closer look at the strengths of his team members.

"Didn't coach well today. Didn't do anything well today. Very disappointing," admitted Kelly. He added, "We haven't put our players in position to make plays the last two weeks, and that's on us. That's on me as a head coach, so I'll take responsibility."

As for the part of the football stars themselves, Murray is the first to acknowledge that their present situation is disappointing. The former Dallas Cowboys star noted that both the players and the coaching staff are to blame for their three straight losses.

"It's frustrating," revealed Murray via CSN Philly. The running back went on to say, "I've never been a part of anything like this. We're not doing what we're supposed to do on the field and it's hurtful, it's painful to sit back and play the way we've played the last two weeks and all you can do is learn from it and try to work hard and bust your tail and try to go from there."
