The Seattle Seahawks are in danger. No longer deemed as a formidable Super Bowl contender, the former championship rivals of the New England Patriots now face the possibility of not even making it to the top of the NFC West division. With the Russell Wilson squad trailing three games behind the Arizona Cardinals, the Seattle Seahawks may have to focus all their energy on making it to the playoffs this NFL season. Moreover, the wild card spot may be slipping out of their reach as the Seattle Seahawks are currently two games behind the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Falcons. Needless to say, fans and followers of the struggling NFL team are rabid and are looking for people to blame for the disappointing performance of the Seattle Seahawks this season.

One of the most highly talked about reasons for the failure of the Seattle Seahawks to bag wins this football season is the performance of quarterback Wilson. In the game against the Arizona Cardinals, the star athlete fumbled and delivered poor plays throughout the football match. Apart from the disgruntled fans, it appears that even people from teammate Marshawn Lynch's camp are blaming Wilson for the disheartening loss.

Although Wilson has been recognized as one of the prized players on the Seattle Seahawks roster, his recent moves appear to be planting seeds of doubt in the management regarding his capacity to lead the team and bag wins. Given the hefty salary the Seattle Seahawks provided Wilson, it remains to be seen if the star quarterback would be seen as a liability than an asset in the struggling NFL team.

"He's got his chances," said Pete Carroll, referring to his assessment of Wilson's performance in the game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to Seattle PI. The Seattle Seahawks head coach further shared, "He's got to hit some passes. He had some opportunities, and he knows it. We talked a long time about it afterward, about the ones that we missed. There was chances down the field. The one on the pick. He was there. We were high on a couple balls that we could have hit."

Apart from Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks also saw the decline in the performance of Jimmy Graham. The tight end's plays during the devastating football match could not have come at a more inopportune time. As the Seattle Seahawks struggle to make their way back to the top, the Kam Chancellor squad appears to be having a difficult time catching a break.

"A couple balls got away from Jimmy," noted Carroll. He added, "He's got to make those catches. He knows. He had a couple shots there. A pass over the middle. There was a ball on his back hip I'd like to see him get. He makes that catch all the time. He makes the catch in the end zone for a touchdown. The guy did knock it out. It was a good job. I don't know how you call that one, but it was a very, very close call there whether it was a touchdown or not. But most of the time (Graham's) going to make that play."
