The Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off on Saturday (August 29) for the third week of the 2015 NFL preseason games. The Packers will be playing host to the Eagles as the match will be held at the Lambeau Field in Green Bay at 12:00 pm (MHT) this weekend.

With the recent and widely controversial injury incurred by Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson during the match against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Eagles are reportedly poised to bring home the prize in this 2015 NFL preseason face off.

Fresh off their win 40 - 17 over the Baltimore Ravens during the second week of the 2015 NFL preseason games, the Eagles are eager to once again showcase the talented roster created by the NFL team in the offseason. Boasting of the stronger and better performances by the Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford and the recent addition of former Dallas Cowboys star DeMarco Murray, the NFL team could be expected to give the Packers a very difficult match to complete.

In the NFL preseason match against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, the fans and followers of the Eagles saw Bradford complete three out of five passes for 35 yards. As for Matt Barkley, the Eagles star completed six of 14 passes and threw for 86 yards. Meanwhile, Mark Sanchez showed off and completed 14 of 20 passes and recorded 118 yards. Kevin Monangai achieved one touchdown out 10 attempts and recorded 87 yards.

Another reason as to the potential victory of the Eagles over the Packers in the upcoming NFL preseason match this weekend is revealed by Brad Jones. The Eagles linebacker disclosed that his current NFL team has more "cohesion" compared with the Packers.

"Guys like each other," the Eagles linebacker disclosed in an interview with NJ Advance Media. The NFL star added, "Everybody's focused on one goal. That's really the goal and key of every championship team. The closeness and cohesion of every team, if everyone can get together and say 'Let's win a championship,' that overtakes any skill. It overtakes anything."

Meanwhile, the Packers saw defeat in the NFL team's match against the Steelers. In addition to the sour taste of losing, the Packers also lost wide received Jordy Nelson in the 2015 NFL preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. To further bolster the chances of the Eagles in winning the upcoming preseason match, rumors are spreading that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be a no show in the NFL game this weekend.
