Pittsburgh Steelers Get Dragged Into New Deflategate Scandal

A new Deflategate scandal in the NFL has emerged after the New York Giants accused the Pittsburgh Steelers of using deflated footballs during their Week 13 matchup. Giants coach Ben McAdoo address his complaint against the Steelers after the upset win his team pulled over the Dallas Cowboys.

During the post-game press conference, McAdoo noted that he and the other staff members of the New York organization were suspicious of the PSI levels of the footballs used in the game against the Steelers, which Pittsburgh won with a final score of 24-14.

"I don't really know anything about it," McAdoo said when asked about Deflategate II. "I just know that they felt a little...I don't know, the PSI's were a little low, so they checked them, and they just let me know they checked them."

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, on the other hand, refused to respond to the allegations made by the Giants. But, he noted that the Pittsburgh organization is willing to cooperate with an investigation if the Giants and the NFL want to push through with it.

But, based on the statement released by the NFL, it seems Deflategate II will not gain traction this year after the league noted that no violations occurred during the Giants-Steelers game.

"The officiating game ball procedures were followed and there were no chain of command issued," a spokesperson from the league said. "All footballs were in compliance and no formal complaints was filed by the Giants with our office."

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, the unfortunate star of the original Deflategate scandal, was asked for his thoughts on the new controversy. Although he refused to address the issue, he noted that he has already moved on from it, according to All 22.

NFL fans might remember that Brady had to go through a lengthy legal battle due to his involvement in the first Deflategate controversy. This was also the reason why he had to sit out the first four games of the season after he was suspended by the league.

If the Steelers are found guilty of tampering with the footballs in their game against the Giants, then those involved will most likely go through the same experience that Brady went through.
