The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a devastating loss 23 - 20 against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4 of the regular NFL season. As the Pittsburgh Steelers fearless leader Ben Roethlisberger succumb to injuries in the previous week during the match against the St Louis Rams, the Michael Vick squad attempted to bag another win in the NFL game against the Baltimore Ravens.

"You've got to let it hurt," stated Pittsburgh Steelers star Michael Vick, who served as the replacement of Ben Roethlisberger as the usual starting quarterback nurses his injury from the previous game. Michael Vick went on to share, "It's part of what motivates you and makes you want to go out and do it again. You've got to let it burn."

In what could be assumed as an effort on the part of the Pittsburgh Steelers to improve its playing style and assist its football stars in going through NFL face offs sans quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the team opted to let go of veteran kicker Josh Scobee. In the match against the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL community saw Josh Scobee miss two late field goals in regulation - instances that might have cost him his job and spot at the Pittsburgh Steelers roster.

"Scobee missed two field goals in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter to set up the brutal loss," noted Kevin Patra of Around the NFL, referring to the performance of the veteran kicker during the match of the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Baltimore Ravens for Week 4 of the regular NFL season.

The sports commentator went on to point out, "Coach Mike Tomlin clearly didn't trust his kicker on a pair of fourth-down plays in overtime leading to the defeat. Scobee made just six of 10 field goal tries and missed one extra point in four games in Pittsburgh." Prior to signing up with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Josh Scobee had been with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2004 to 2014 as the fifth round pick of the Blake Bortles squad. As a kicker in the Jacksonville Jaguars roster, Josh Scobee earned the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award four times.

To fill in the spot vacated by veteran kicker Josh Scobee, the Pittsburgh Steelers turned their attention to Houston Texans star Chris Boswell. Earlier reports indicate that Chris Boswell also worked out with the New York Jets this NFL offseason. It remains to be seen whether or not the former Houston Texans hopeful will land a permanent gig with the Pittsburgh Steelers this time. "Chris Boswell did a terrific job with Texans but they kept Randy Bullock," reported John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. The sports analyst added, "Boswell's last team was Giants. Maybe he'll win the job this time."
