The long wait is over. Fans of the towers defense game will have a new gaming experience as "Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" is scheduled to be available starting Feb. 23. Before gamers start playing the title, we'll give you the latest updates about its new special rewards, new maps and new playable characters.
PlayStation LifeStyle listed the game's trophy list. Eliminate 5000 Zombies to receive "Rinsed 'Em." Kill 5000 Plants and get "Gramma Z Says...." Promote a single character five times to have the "Time to Go Outside" trophy. In addition, the other in-game trophies are "The Boss is Watching," "My Place or Yours" and "You've Goat to Be Kidding Me!" and many more.
Furthermore, there is a bunch of new playable characters available in the new installment of "PvZ: Garden Warfare."All of the game's over 100 playable are tied to 14 different classes, and players will definitely enjoy the six brand new personalities.
Below is the list of new characters and their abilities. Learn how to use them and master the game.
- Captain Deadbeard: Heroic Kick, Super Ultra Ball and Turbo Twister
- Imp and Z-Tech: Gravity Grenade, Robo Call, Robo Stomp, Missile Madness and Explosive Escape
- Super Brainz: Heroic Kick, Super Ultra Ball and Turbo Twister
- Rose: Time Snare, Arcane Enigma and Goatify
- Citron: Empeach, Citron Mode and Energy Shield
- Kennel Corn: Butter Barrage, Husk Hop and Shuck Shot
Aside from new characters, the game developers made sure that loyal gamers will receive benefits for trusting the game. Avid players will award based on their previous ranks. Players that rank 10 and up will have the "Helpful Fun Pack," which includes consumable and customization items. Rank 25+ players will get the Rank 10+ rewards and the "Wondrous Pack of Greatness," which gives players a Rare character.
Furthermore, for players rank 50 and up, they will get all Rank 10+ and Rank 25+ freebies plus the "Phenomenal Character Pack."
Rank 100+ players will receive all Rank 10+, Rank 25+ and Rank 50+ rewards, and the "Century Pack," which offers five Super Rare customization items. Lastly, Rank 313 players will have an exclusive access to all of the item packs and the Legendary Unicorn Chomper.
Additionally, the latest edition of Plants vs. Zombies game will offer a myriad of environments to conquer. Players will have to know these new 12 new maps to beat the enemies. The new maps are Lunar Landing, Colizeum, Zen Peak, Boney Island, Sandy Sands, the Great White North, Seeds of Time, Time Park, Z-Tech Factory, Frosty Creek, Moon Base Z, and Zomburnia.
