PlayStation Plus constantly look forward to the announcement of their free games for the month, which are often announced shortly before the month begins. The PlayStation Plus free games for the month of May 2015 are almost out of here, but there might be some very special offers for PlayStation Plus Free Games for the month of June 2015.

According to the Master Herald, June is planned to be a very good month for PlayStation Plus members. Not only will it be the month of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 16-18, but Sony wants to make "a big splash" among PlayStation Plus members.

There is a big rumor going around that Sony is intending to offer at least one Triple A game title for free to Playstation Plus members next month.

PlayStation Plus is a paid PlayStation Network subscription service to provide users with some great features including having game patches and system software updates download automatically to the console, as well as getting some betas and demos of new games, not to mention the store discounts and the already mentioned free games. The PlayStation online multiplayer requires a subscription to PlayStation Plus, and it costs $49.99 for one year and $17.99 for three months. The PlayStation Plus program offers at least two free games each month for each of its three consoles (PS4, PS3, and PlayStation Vita). Traditionally, the announcements of the free games usually come before the new month begins, but there is no word on what games will come.

For those unaware, a Triple A game is designated for games that have the highest development budgets and levels of promotion, and expected to be a bestseller upon its release. Most of the free PlayStation Plus games are usually independent games, and the last time a Triple A game was offered was back in December with Injustice: Gods Among Us, a game based on DC superheroes. As for what it will be, who knows.

In the meantime, here is what is available for the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita for free during the month of May.

The first game exclusively for the PS4 is Ether One, a first person adventure game that has optional puzzle solving. The player is an employee of a memory-retrieval company known as the Ether Institute of Telepathic Medicine, and must investigate the thoughts of a woman with dementia in order to find lost memories.

The second exclusive PS4 game is Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition. This is an action-platforming video game inspired by Mexican culture like luchadores as well as other legends. This edition adds additional levels and bosses as well as some other DLC (downloadable content).

The next three games are available for both PS4, PS3, and Vita. One of them is Race the Sun, which Metacritic describes as the player being in a solar-powered craft that must "hurtle towards the sunset at breakneck speed in a futile race against time".

Another one available for all PlayStation platforms is The Unfinished Swan. According to the Giant Sparrow website, it is a game about "exploring the unknown" where "The player is a young boy chasing after a swan who has wandered off into a surreal, unfinished kingdom. The game begins in a completely white space where players can throw paint to splatter their surroundings and reveal the world around them."

The last game that is available for all three platforms is Hohokum, and it is an art video game where the player controls a snake or kite, and it has no set objectives. IGN reports that the colorful game is "non-linear, and has no score, time limit, or tutorial", which makes it very, very different.

The free game for the PlayStation Vita is Murasaki Baby. The official website states that it is about a girl with a purple balloon who wants her mommy, and is in a weird world populated by children's fantasies and fears. The graphics and characters are on the very odd side.

As May 2015 finishes out, I'm certain that PlayStation Plus will roll out a list of free games for June 2015, so keep a listening ear there to see what will be for free.
