Those that enjoy the Japan-originated Pokémon franchise love the comics, video games, and animated TV shows, but Pokémon wanted its fans to play as someone who can hunt Pokémon with Pokémon GoPokémon Go is a mobile version of the game that will be released for iOS and Android, and it uses location-based technology to tell where the player is.  It will also allow the player to find and capture their favorite pocket monsters.  The release date of Pokémon Go is described as "sometime in 2016", which matches the vagueness of the long awaited Pokémon Z title.  There are some things that the potential buyers of these games can do to prepare.

According to Vine Report, there are some preparations being made for the world of augmented reality and Pokémon as there will be a Pokémon Expo Gym opening in Osaka, Japan.  This facility will offer different training programs and game-related events such as Charizard's Battle Coliseum and Gardevoir's Control Score as well as a chance for fans to have special Pokémon for Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Alpha Sapphire, and Omega Ruby games.  The gym will have a membership card that can be pre-ordered on October 31st while the gym itself will open on November 19th

The Latin Post states that the new Pokémon gym has no tie-in with the Pokémon GO game made by the Pokémon company and Niantic.  The gym and the game are two separate ventures from separate companies, but their goals certainly intersect in this case.

Niantic, the team best known for Ingress, another location-based game, is also working with the Pokémon to make certain Pokémon GO is a terrific experience for its users.  In fact, Niantic is working with Pokémon, Google, and Nintendo with $30 million in resources.  The first $20 million are covering the upfront expenses and the additional $10 million is in "financing conditioned upon the company achieving certain milestones".  These milestones are probably based on the number of players, and the best way to increase that is to create more locations.

Players of Pokémon GO Have the option of buying a Bluetooth wristband that looks like a Pokémon ball to appeal to their "Gotta Catch 'Em All" playing. The wristband is not required to play the game, but it will add a real element for those that are familiar with the comics, games, and television show.

There has been some news on the release date for Pokémon GO could be announced as direct Junichi Masuda is set to appear on Japan's most popular TV show in November, where he will talk about the title.  According to the Venture Captial Post, This interview is set on November 15, and there might be a chance that he could talk about the long-awaited Pokémon Z as well.
