Pokemon GO: a game that has captured the imagination of millions all over the world since it was introduced this summer, and it shows no signs of slowing down. Over the course of the past few months, there has been a number of sites and forums that have mushroomed all over the place, offering different tips, tricks, and How To guides in capturing all of the Pokemon available, even the legendary ones.

There are 151 Pokemon in Pokemon GO to date (barring the new 100 more Pokemons that are set to be unleashed when the new Pokemon GO update is released), and capturing all 151 of them can be nigh impossible -- especially if you are not a frequent traveler outside from your own country. Those in the US will most probably catch 142 at best. The remaining elusive Pokemon comprise of four regional Pokémon (except Tauros), Ditto, and five legendary creatures (Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, Mew, and Mewtwo). These are extremely difficult to hunt down and catch, or remain missing from Pokemon GO.

Are the four region-specific Pokémon -- Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros really that difficult to hunt down? There are people who laid claim to successfully hatching regional exclusives out of Eggs outside of their region, but is that a fairy tale? Niantic CEO John Hanke mentioned in a tweet, as to whether regionals can be hatched out of Eggs outside of their region, that "the eggs can only be found in their natural habitat."

Perhaps playing the game using a GPS spoof cheating software (which we will not share the link to here for obvious reasons) could have allowed one to purchase Eggs from different parts of the world. This eliminates the need to be a truly global traveler, as you can more or less collect them all from the comfort of your own home.

It is interesting to note that the act of GPS spoofing is no longer available in Pokemon GO in the latest update. Most of the Farfetch'd encounters happened in Asia, with Japan and South Korea being hotspots, while Kangaskhan sightings have occurred in Australasia, according to Eurogamer. Folks residing across the pond will most probably pick up Mr. Mime, while Tauros “resides” in North America, mostly in vast, desert-like, or rodeo-related territories.

Nick Johnson claims to be the first Pokémon GO trainer to have captured all available 145 Pokémon, where he traveled all the way to Hong Kong, Sydney, and France to attain such fame. Expedia and Marriott decided to pay for his flights after he achieved this feat.

Here’s a quick tip: you can easily pick up regular Pokemons in heavily populated areas. The rarer ones tend to be in the wilds though. It is also easier in Pokemon GO to evolve rare types as opposed to capturing one, such as obtaining a Gyrados from a candy-ground Magikarp. While it might require a whole lot more patience, at least it is a guarantee. Pokemons like Snorlax can be acquired by hatching it -- you will need an incubator in Pokemon GO though. Hatching Snorlax will also require you to have at least a 10 KM egg,

Remember walking is the operative keyword here, although biking or skateboarding might work, but riding in a car will be ineffective. Other Pokemons that you can pick up per kilometer are Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Caterpie (2 Kilometers). Ekans, Sandshrew, Nidoran (female) and Nidoran (male) (5 Kilometers) and Onix, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Chansey (10 Kilometers.)
