The Sacramento Kings are entering the NBA regular season as one of the most notable basketball teams. With the addition of former Boston Celtics star Rajon Rondo alongside the phenomenal DeMarcus Cousins, the Sacramento Kings are now pegged as one of the most formidable opponents of the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference this coming NBA season. 

Moreover, the resolution of the rumored conflict between Sacramento Kings' head coach Karl George and franchise star DeMarcus Cousins provided more stability and infused more strength in the NBA team. Meanwhile, the entrance of Rajon Rondo will give the basketball squad a more solid veteran experience to help the NBA stars perform better this season.

"The crazy world of gossip and innuendo and blogs, so much of this stuff is not the truth," said George Karl in an interview with Sirius XM, referring to his relationship with Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins. The head coach added, "Cuz and I, we're going to have our battles. He's passionate. He's emotional. He wants to win. I want Cuz to be emotional and passionate, but I also want him to be the leader of our team."

As for Rajon Rondo, the Sacramento Kings coach noted that the former Boston Celtics star only needs his confidence to return for him to once again exhibit an NBA All-Star performance. George Karl further shared that Rajon Rondo is not an individualistic player. Rather, the newest addition to the Rudy Gay squad is the type to push his teammates to work together and function as a well-bonded basketball squad. The Sacramento Kings coach said, "I'm challenging him every day to go back to what he can do. He can rebound, and he can push the ball well. He can create basketball plays for other people as well as maybe any point guard in basketball." He added,"[Rajon Rondo] doesn't want to score. He wants to make the team work. He wants to make other guys better, and that's fantastic to have on your court,"

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings re-signed Eric Moreland. It could be recalled that the basketball star had been let go in July this year due to the NBA team's reluctance to give him guaranteed money. Throughout the offseason, the Sacramento Kings saw other NBA teams make a play for Eric Moreland. Months following his release from the Sacramento Kings roster, Eric Moreland returned to play with DeMarcus Cousins in the tune of $200,000 guaranteed money. To make room for Eric Moreland, the Sacramento Kings opted to release David Stockton. The decision to waive the guard was announced by Sacramento Kings Vice President and General Manager Vlade Divac.
