"Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson has revealed she's dating Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight, who she describes as a "strong Christian" who, like her, is very vocal about his faith.

"We've been dating for three weeks, so it's super chill," the 19-year-old daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson told told ET.

Robertson met the college football player three months ago and they immediately hit it off, but didn't begin dating immediately.

"He had messaged me because he goes to Haiti every year on a mission trip and he saw that I go to Haiti," she explained. "We just kinda connected through that, very much friends at first."

The couple quickly bonded over their shared Christian faith and the way they handle the pressure that comes along with being in the spotlight.

"Trevor has to deal with his own kinda fame -- that was weird for me," the "Live Original" author said. "We're both kinda in the spotlight ... but he does such a good job with it. He is a very strong Christian and he tells everybody about his faith, so we had a lot in common in that area."

The "Dancing With The Stars" alum revealed that her new boyfriend has met the large Robertson clan - all of whom gave the couple the thumbs up.

"My family's a little scary and a little intimidating -- they're big LSU fans and he plays for Texas A&M -- so that was kinda funny, but he's a good guy," the "Live Original" author said. "Even Pepaw Phil was nice!"

Robertson and her highschool sweetheart, Blake Coward, ended their relationship earlier this year after dating for more than two years.

She addressed the split in a public video on YouTube in which she urged her followers to strive to stay positive and learn how negative experiences for their personal development.

"Instead of being bitter, instead of being jealous, instead of being angry, want what's best for them," she said. "No matter what the outcome, take the things that you know you can work on, grow in that, and be better for the next person."

"Be better for the person that God has planned and prepared for you," the actress and author added.

Meanwhile, Robertson is gearing up for a 17-night nationwide "Live Original Tour" where she will be joined by her brother, John Luke, his wife, Mary Kate, cousins Reed and Cole Robertson, Reed's fiancée, Brighton Thompson, filmmaker Max Zoghbi, and his wife, Bonnie Kate, and Colorado movie theater shooting survivor Bonnie Kate Zoghbi. The tour has stops in San Antonio, Baton Rouge, Birmingham and more beginning Sept. 22.

"I remember praying when I was little, 'God just give me something, give me a platform, give me people to reach,' " Robertson told Rare. "I would have never thought that he'd give me this platform or this many people to reach."
