There is a lot of hype currently going on with Mobile World Congress 2015 happening on March 2-5 in Barcelona, Spain.  Most expect the Samsung Galaxy S6 to make an appearance, but there have been many rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

The Note series really started a fad with phones becoming phablets, and even Apple has taken a page from this phablet playbook with their iPhone 6 Plus. The Galaxy Note 4 is only just months old as it was just released last September, but already people are talking about the Galaxy Note 5.

According to Trusted Reviews, the Galaxy Note 5 could make an appearance sometime during Q3 2015, and it could be the first handset to feature a 3840 x 2160 pixel Ultra HD 4K display.  There is also a rumor that the Galaxy Note 5 could be almost like the Nexus 6 with a 6-inch screen.  In addition to the increase in screen size, Samsung has revealed that the Note 5 will also get a huge upgrade in its memory components.

There are some other rumors going about on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 from the Galaxy S6 Samsung site. One of these rumors is that the Galaxy Note 5 might have wireless charging capability, and a suggestion was made to have something better than this a wireless charging cable which will support charging and battery saver.

Some of the same rumors have appeared on other rumor sites like The Galaxy Note site.  They say that it will have a 20.9 Megapixel rear-facing camera, and expansion capacity up to 128 GB as well as a 3400-3900 battery.  Other features include an all metal body, and that it will be water and dust proof.  As for what is inside, it will have a Eynos 7xx Dodeca-core processor or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 81s clocked around 2.9 GHz.

Then there is a rumor about a powerful retina and fingerprint scanner, which is going to make it a must-have for those who want some serious privacy control.  Also, there are rumors of a possible 5 Megapixel camera, which is perfect for the "selfie" generation.

As for an exact release, we don't have that, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will probably arrive after its unveiling at the IFA Trade Show.  This is a trade show that takes place annually in Berlin, Germany, and the Note 4 was debuted there as well.

In other words, tradition will probably bring the Note 5 there, as the first Note appeared at IFA in 2011.  That means that there is a Note every year, so it is just a matter of time before the Note 5 arrives in time for the holiday season this year to become the phablet for the next year.
