Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at Barcelona's Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, but some hardcore gadget lovers are looking beyond the S7 devices. The South Korean tech company is believed to be developing the successor of Galaxy Note 5. Now, here's what is currently known about Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date, price and specification rumors on the web.

Being a premiere flagship device, buyers should expect Galaxy Note 6 will carry trailblazing features. International Business Times said the upcoming Samsung device will have a whopping 6 GB of RAM. If this rumor is true, the device will establish a new baseline for premium smartphones since it will be the first smartphone to use 6 GB of RAM. To complement the 6 GB RAM, the Note 6 will be launch with two CPU variants, one featuring an Exynos 8890 chipset and the other one powered by Snapdragon 820 chip.

Aside from higher RAM, the next Galaxy Note is said to have a longer battery life. The current Note 5 is only powered with 3,000 mAh, but its successor could have 4,000 mAh of power.

For internal storage capacity, buyers will have three options: 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. Note 6 will also have the newly unveiled 256 GB UFS 2.0 storage that can deliver reading and writing speeds of 850 MB/s and 260 MB/s, respectively.

The camera technology of Note 6 will be stellar.  Rumors say the smartphone will boast a 12-megapixel camera coupled with Super OIS Plus setup that includes a 5-axis image stabilization system. These features will help the device to capture clearer images in a low-light environment.

According to Ubergizmo, Samsung may introduce a phablet dock feature for the Note 6. This feature will allow buyers to fit the Note 6 into the dock present on a laptop. Interestingly, the screen of Note 6 will function as a touchpad. When the device is mounted on the dock, the laptop will run on Windows 10.

The launching of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is tipped to happen in August before the IFA 2016.

As of now, Samsung has not yet confirmed or denied any of this information, so readers are advised to take it with a grain of salt.

The upcoming Note 6 is expected to compete with other top-class devices on the market. Will the Note 6 outlast its rivals? We'll find out once it becomes available. Stay tuned with Gospel Herald for more updates.
