Samsung certainly has a lot of sales with their current flagship devices of the smartphone Galaxy S6 and the phablet Note 5.  Of course, these successful products are going to have follow-ups, and the first one is due out soon with the Galaxy Note 6 (possibly the Note 7).  As far as the Galaxy S8, it is going to be until the beginning of 2017 until that smartphone from Samsung is revealed.

According to Ubergizmo, the next version of the Samsung flagship smartphone will feature a 4K Ultra HD display as well as a dual camera setup on the back.  So why a 4K display?  Considering that there is a current 4K explosion on televisions, it isn't any surprise that this smartphone would be getting one.  It is pretty clear that 4K will be the standard for smartphones, and even Sony and Microsoft are updating their consoles so they will have the 4K capability.

Another good reason for 4K resolution is the heavy emphasis that there will be for virtual reality, and it looks like the Gear VR has helped with that.  The 4K resolution would make it a lot more immersive, thus, make VR a lot better.  This is assuming that VR is going to take off as much as companies are thinking that it will.

As for the rumored dual camera setup, it will also be an improvement of the device's imaging prowess, allowing users to take very true-to-life photos and videos.  Rumors are saying that the anticipated iPhone 7 will have the dual lens camera.

Of course, considering that we are looking at February/March 2017 before the Samsung S8 will receive its usual unveiling at Mobile World Congress (MWC), it could be too early to talk about the next smartphone from Samsung.  However, the Galaxy Note 7 is coming soon, most likely on August 2, probably hitting the shelves by August end.

You heard that right; it will probably be the Galaxy Note 7, as most sources, including Phone Arena, states that the next version of the Note will skip a number of Microsoft Windows.  The reason might be to compare with the iPhone 7, maybe?

The display for the Note 7 could be a 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, and perhaps there should be a 4K display as well.  Also, the screen might have a curved edge display, and the camera could be one of those dual-camera setups as well.

There are other features that the Note 7 could have such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823, 6 to 8 GB of RAM, a 4,000 mAh battery, IP68 water resistance, and microSD card.  There could also be an iris scanner for an added security benefit.
