One of the main things that fans and followers of the San Antonio Spurs need to watch out for this season is the chemistry between NBA vet Tim Duncan and the newly minted member of the team. "I'm not worried about him benefiting my game," shared Tim Duncan in an interview with Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report. The San Antonio Spurs vet added, "I'm going to worry about me benefiting his. I'm going to let him do his thing and just see where I can fit in and help. I'm going to ride his coattails and I'm going to push him." To sum it up, Tim Duncan is looking forward to an NBA season that will have the San Antonio Spurs following the lead of LaMarcus Aldridge.

Apart from discussing the ways he can complement LaMarcus Aldridge, Tim Duncan also shared how grateful he is for the team effort in the San Antonio Spurs roster which helped them acquire talented players during the offseason. He said, "Wow, it's unbelievable. I would not have imagined it would turn out this way. We've got a bunch of very unselfish guys and guys that know how to play the game, and I think LA and D-West and all those guys kind of fit into that category, so it's not going to be reinventing the wheel. We're going to keep our system the same as we have over the years and plug in new parts and see how it works."

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs are looking at yet another star to boost the team's chances in bagging the NBA title this season. Apart from LaMarcus Aldridge, fans and followers of the San Antonio Spurs could also expect more minutes from Patty Mills. As Tony Parker continues to suffer from physical health setbacks, the San Antonio Spurs are looking for younger and healthier stars to take on the role. "The role I have now with the Spurs has grown and not just by my teammates but the whole organization, and I'm realizing it now where I don't think I did before," shared Patty Mills in an interview with Sydney Morning Herald. The San Antonio Spurs added, "Being amongst that whole deal was a good experience, obviously I had a relationship with LaMarcus from when I played with him in Portland. I get lost in it sometimes in not realizing what I bring to the team."
