Sam Bradford is once again in the headlines after getting severely criticized by defensive lineman Michael Bennett of the Seattle Seahawks. The issue with the QB is once again, his previous request to be traded by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bradford made this odd request after his team drafted Carson Wentz. It seems for Bradford; the move was disrespectful because he reportedly believes Wentz was brought in to replace him as the team's starter.

But, it seems everything between Bradford and the Eagles are fine now since the athlete has started to attend the team's offseason program and is reportedly open for competing for the starting position.

However, even though the issue plaguing the Eagles seems to be over now, various athletes are still commenting on the move that Bradford pulled. The most recent one to lash out at the QB is Bennett.

"I listened to Sam Bradford again. I just almost threw up," he told ESPN Radio according to USA Today. "I can't believe Sam Bradford is complaining about making $40 million in the next two years, and because he actually has to compete for a position."

Bennett then noted that Bradford's request for a trade sends a very bad message to his teammates. For one, it raises a few trust concerns especially since Bradford is the team's playmaker.

"This guy right here definitely sets a bad tone of what a player should be," he said. "If I was his teammate, how can you play with a guy that doesn't want to compete at a high level and feels like his position should be solidified without even putting up the stats or wins to back that up?"

Bennett is the latest athlete to bash Bradford. Earlier this month, NFL legend Terrell Owens called the athlete a coward for trying to take the easy way out instead of competing for his position in the team.

"I think it was not a great move for Sam to want to request a trade being that they were getting a #1 pick," he told TMZ. "If it were me...that's kind of a sign of a coward, to be honest."
