Die-hard fans of the legendary fighting franchise "Street Fighter" can get a glimpse of the popular fighting game as CapCom's Yoshinori Ono has confirmed via Twitter that Street Fighter V PS4/PC will be present at E3 2015. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is the world's premier trade show for computer and video games. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) said E3 2015 would be held June 16-18,  2015 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Ono Twitted, "Currently, we're doing our best to work on SFV! We're making preparation for E3 in next month!" In another tweet, Ono praised the latest build and described the latest outing as "It's Looking Good."

While CapCom has not yet announced a definite release date of the much-awaited sequel, the company said Street Fighter V for PlayStation 4 and PC would definitely hit the stores during its current fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2016, reported Gamepur.com. Early reports speculated that the game will be released in the spring of 2016.

In its web site, CapCom said the new Street Fighter V for PlayStation 4 and PC would be a cross-platform play that will unite Street Fighter fans into a centralized player base for the first time ever.

"In addition, Capcom will be performing the largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history on both platforms! In North America, players who pre-order the game will automatically be enrolled into the beta program," the company said.

Earlier, CapCom announced it was targeting to sell at least two million copies of the game once Street Fighter V is released in the market, said VC Post.

According to the report, the game is being developed exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PC. Users of the Xbox One game console will have to salivate about this info as they could not play the latest release of the popular franchise.

In an interview with Edge magazine, Ono sat said that fans of Street Fighter V should expect "something that nobody is expecting." He said that developers at CapCom also have created something with a larger scope and something that have incorporated all the success of the games in the last few years.

He told the magazine, "We've been working on Street Fighter 4 for the past seven years now. There's been a lot of rebalancing and so on, but the game is still going strong, even today. All this means that, with Street Fighter 5, we have a fantastic opportunity to create something with a larger scope, a game that encompasses all that Street Fighter has become in the last few years, but which also expands on that to become something it has never been before as well. So now we want to create something that nobody is expecting. It's going to be a title that caters to fans, of course, but one that also invites completely new players onto the scene. Street Fighter 4 was about reviving a passion. Street Fighter 5 is about growing that passion."

While Ono was very tight-lipped about the details of Street Fighter V, he confirmed that the game will have Ryu, Chun-Li, Charlie and M. Bison to the game's roster.

Ono further stated, "I've worked on many different projects within Capcom, but in my career here, the greenlight process for Street Fighter 5 was comfortably the most straightforward. This game was probably a hundred times easier to get off the ground than the previous one. The passion around Street Fighter is currently such that the internal team within Capcom has been incredibly eager. There have been far fewer obstacles and far less stress.  In personal terms, Street Fighter 5 represents something new for me too."
