Fans would be happy to know that Nintendo released another new detail related to this game. It seems that two new characters will be joining the roster of "Super Smash Bros. 4."

Bayonetta and Corrin from "Fire Emblem" are set to join "Super Smash Bros 4." According to Crossmap, Super Smash Bros. Game Creator Masahiro Sakurai himself revealed this.

Bayonetta

Bayonetta will be included in the roster of "Super Smash Bros. 4," equipped with two costumes. These costumes are those the character wore for "Bayonetta" and "Bayonetta 2," so fans will no doubt be familiar with these.

In a related news, Nintendo also confirmed that there is a plan to re-release a stand alone title for one of the upcoming DLC characters. Fans need not wait for the re-release too, since it has been announced that it will already be out by next month. Which among the characters will have a stand alone title?

Based on a tweet from Nintendo of America, "Bayonetta 2" is set to come out on Feb 19., as a re-release. Moreover, reading how the tweet was written, it seems that Bayonetta will also be in "Super Smash Bros 4."

According to iDigitalTimes, this move by Nintendo is a strategic one. "Bayonetta 2" was not wildly popular nor widely accepted by gamers when it was first released back in Sept. 2014 as a bundle for the Wii U. Even with some positive reviews, the sales were not at a level that Nintendo projected. It was significantly lower, especially since it was released almost at the same time "Super Smash Bros. 4" was released. Seeing the popularity of the latter title, "Bayonetta 2" was relatively overshadowed.  Now to be released as a stand-alone game, "Bayonetta 2" might be more popular than it was originally released.

Corrin of "Fire Emblem."

Corrin from "Fire Emblem" is another character added on the new DLC of "Super Smash Bros. 4." The character will be joining the already quite long list of "Fire Emblem" characters that are present in the current roster. Other Fire Emblem characters already part of "Super Smash Bros 4" are Lucina, Marth, Ike and the two versions of Robin.

At some point, rumors circulated that Shovel Knight will also be eventually added into Super Smash Bros 4. However, these rumors are not confirmed. But Yacht Games, the creator of the of Shovel Knight character, claimed the rumors are baseless.

"Super Smash Bros." is a very successful game from the start. The first time it was released, more than 10 million copies were sold across the world. The game even won a "People's Choice Award" for being the "Favorite Videogame of the year. It bested equally popular games such as "Call of Duty: Advance Warfare," "Minecraft," "Batman: Arkham Knight," and "Grand Theft Auto V."

Unfortunately, even with all these details, there's still no confirmed release date for Bayonetta and Corrin DLC.
