It has been a strange season for The Bachelorette in the summer of 2015. There were a lot of predictions and spoilers as to what would happen, and the later ones were true. It was predicted that Kaitlyn Bristowe would have to choose between Shawn and Nick, and Reality Steve, a well-known spoiler of The Bachelor/The Bachelorette originally said that Kaitlyn chose no one and chose to stay a single woman. This ended up being false, and this is the Bachelorette 2015 Recap and possible wedding predictions.
The Finale that aired on July 27th began as Nick Viall got to meet Kaitlyn's family, and it got awkward even before Nick arrived. According to ABC Go, Kaitlyn's mother was well-aware that Nick had once slept with Andi Dorfman from The Bachelorette Season 10. Still, Kaitlyn's mother had a good impression of Nick, so it went pretty well, all things considered.
When it came time for Shawn to meet Kaitlyn's family, Kaitlyn's mother asked point-blank about how Shawn would feel if Kaitlyn were to marry Nick. Shawn must have given her a good answer, as he soon asked for Kaitlyn's hand from her parents, and he got it.
After the whole "Meet The Parents" issue had been dealt with by the final two, both Shawn and Nick got to go on their last dates. Both of them admitted that they love Kaitlyn, and she told them the same. It didn't appear that her mind was made up, as she could not deny that she could see Nick as her husband but she was falling in love with Shawn as well.
One day later, it was finally time for the Final Rose Ceremony, and the first up was Nick. Nick reported that he was certain that Kaitlyn would have spared him the pain of finding out that she chose Shawn, but she actually had chosen Shawn. As Nick got down on one knee, she broke up with him. Nick felt very bad after that, and thought he was "the world's biggest joke", even tossing the ring that he was going to give her across the limo.
Kaitlyn then gave Shawn the good news. After starting to say would actually could have been a rejection, she admitted that she loved him and she could "be herself" around him. He did have a ring ready and proposed, and she gave him the final rose. Kaitlyn has apparently talked about her dream wedding behind the scenes, and pictures it to be "very Bohemian", and for her to be wearing a hippie headband.
