After a month since Jinger Duggar tied the knot with Jeremy Vuolo, the Duggar family is already missing Jinger as she begins a new life with her husband. The big clan has been taking to social media and posting throwback photos of the recently-wed 22-year-old on Instagram.
As for expanding their family, fans believe it would be better news if Jinger and Jeremy opt to start early so they will be featured more on the next season of ‘Counting On.’
Until the next installment of the family’s new series is aired on TLC, the Duggars have been left to post never-before-seen photos of Jinger on Facebook and Instagram.
Meanwhile, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughter have kept mum about their wedding and honeymoon; she has also opted to not make an Instagram account of her own. Jeremy does have his own Facebook page, after spending some time focusing on his soccer career prior to his relationship with Jinger.
The former athlete often gives an update to his fans about how his life has been going. Such posts, however, are often limited to his concept of Christian faith these days as he begins his life with Jinger and both are taking their first few steps in marriage.
In one of his more recent blog posts, the 29-year-old Downington native drew attention to his faith as he starts a new stage of his life.
Titled ‘Spiritual Stargazers,’ Jeremy begins his post with a description of taking a prayer walk in the neighborhood on a chilly evening.
“However, tonight feels especially dark…maybe a street light or two reluctantly decided they could no longer resist the darkness about them and abandoned their post,” he wrote. “Whatever the reason, the brisk air combined with the dimly lit sidewalk constructs an almost eery atmosphere that your subconscious takes as a sure signal to shift your prayers into quiet mumblings of Psalm 23:4.”
Such post was deemed by many as a nod to Jeremy’s Duggar in-laws, Jim Bob and Michelle, who recently celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary.
“We encourage all of you guys out there, pursue your wife as if you were dating her, treat her like a queen, humble yourself and ask for forgiveness when offenses come,” the Duggar folks wrote on their own family blog.
Jim Bob and Michelle also mentioned how much they encourage married couples to pray and read the Bible together, as it brings on blessings and positive outcomes for marriage and family.
“We are excited about… what God does with each one of our children’s and grandchildren’s lives over the next few years!,” they added.
Prior to their marriage, Jinger and Jeremy were getting physically intimate during their courtship, which is an act that the Duggar family is cautious about. Nonetheless, the couple was able to “defend” their relationship and insisted that their intentions remain “pure.”
“Jinger and I are both very affectionate. It means a lot to have an arm around or something, and that’s how we express our affection,” Jeremy said, in a report by Us Weekly. “We have a clean conscience as long as it’s not leading us to impurity.”
