The second instalment of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and the final chapter to The Hunger Games franchise will premiere on November 20 in U.S. theatres and a day ahead in the U.K. and Australia.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 picks up with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) returning to what's left of District 13 as she struggles to get inside the brainwashed Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) as a full-scale apocalyptic war unfolds across Panem.

Despite her initial reluctance to accept her role as the Mockingjay symbol of the rebellion, Katniss has started to realize the rebellion needs more than just symbolism to take on the powers-that-be at the Capital. In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, Katniss will show what truly on fire means as she take action joining an unpredictable Peeta, Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) and Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) and the so-called "Squad 451," she sets out for the once-glittering Capitol - transformed into a city of mayhem under attack by both rebels and peacekeepers - with a covert mission to assassinate President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

However, Snow continues to underestimate Katniss and her ability to lead the revolution and is still obsessed of outwitting and destroying the heroine. But Katniss has completely evolved and will not take her as a pawn in Snow's game. Indeed, she is ready to fight for everything she believes in as well as the people she loves. She will set out for one final push against the Capitol.

In a paid advertisement, Pioneer Films, said that "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 builds on the momentum of each previous chapter in the blockbuster series to reach a fever pitch of both emotion and action, bringing Katniss full circle from the dismayed girl caught in a dystopian nightmare to leading the charge to remake her nation."

Says director Francis Lawrence, "In this film, Katniss takes the action back into her own hands and goes after Snow personally. The movie really opens up as we go deep into the streets of the Capitol, coming full circle from Katniss's journey there in the first film. There's more action, more scope, more emotion and most of all, this film brings the story to its moving conclusion."

It added, "Now, in the final chapter of The Hunger Games, with all the Districts united against the Capitol for the first time, tomorrow itself is on the line. For Katniss to truly be herself, she realizes she must now fully take on the indomitable Mockingjay spirit in a last stand to set things right."

The film adaptation of Suzanne Collins novel, the Hunger Games grossed more than $2.3 billion at the global box office.
