After The Witcher 3's presentation at Game Developers Conference 2016, many gamers believe the release of Blood and Wine DLC will happen very soon. If the latest reports were true, the launching of the expansion pack will happen on June 7. Now, we'll give you the latest updates about the Witcher 3 Blood and Wine DLC release date, contents and rumors on the web.

The launching of Blood and Wine will be in the next two months, if Polish gaming site GRYOnline is to be believed.  The website published the release date of the DLC is "07 czerwca 2016," which translates to June 7, 2016.

The rumored release date also falls to the "first half of 2016" window that game developer CD Projekt Red announced via Twitter earlier this month.  Therefore, the leaked information from GRYOnline is probably at least close to the mark.

However, a representative of CD Projekt Red told in GameSpot that there's still no official release date for the downloadble content.  The representative also described the rumor as "placeholder."

It is previously reported that Blood and Wine DLC will offer more than 20 hours of playing time. The scenes in the upcoming DLC is said to happen on Toussaint, a duchy far to the south of The Witcher 3's Northern realms. Additionally, the expansion pack will take Geralt to a land, "where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret."  Players can also expect new set of weapons and gear.

Interestingly, Blood and Wine DLC will feature characters that players missed a lot.  These characters will no doubt expand the roster of Witcher 3 characters and add excitement to the game.  A report from GameRant says the re-introduction of Shani into Hearts of Stone is one of the best features in the expansion pack.

The Blood and Wine DLC, the second and final add-on in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will also introduce two Gwent decks (a total of 154 cards).

Meanwhile, an image posted on NeoGAF shows the Wine and Blood DLC box art. The image shows Geralt seated on a throne with a sword in one hand and a chalice filled with blood in the other.  The poster came from a retailer in Jakarta. It is also reported that the upcoming expansion pack will be sold in stores as download code, so the main game is required to access it.

With that being said, let's wait and see if The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine will become available on June
