From February 23-36, thousands of professionals in Christian media will gather at Nashville's Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center for Proclaim 16, the annual National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) International Christian Media Convention.

The four-day convention, which is the largest nationally and internationally recognized event dedicated to the sole purpose of assisting those in Christian communications, will feature over 70 speakers, including Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren, Hobby Lobby President Steve Green, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President Al Mohler, Anne Graham Lotz, and Kay Arthur.

A number of celebrities will also be in attendance, including Roma Downey, Jennifer Garner, Kevin Sorbo, faith-based filmmaking brothers Steven and Alex Kendrick of "War Room" fame, and Phil Vischer of "Veggie Tales" fame.

"Thousands of Christian communicators come to our annual Convention to find the connections, resources, and insights that will help them advance their organizations, their careers, and their mission," said Dr. Jerry A. Johnson, NRB President & CEO. "If you're in the business of reaching people for Jesus Christ through media, you have got to be here!"

This year, Proclaim 16 will include an expo of 200 exhibiting companies and ministries as well as an interactive exhibit by the Museum of the Bible, which will document the history of the Bible and all of the challenges it has endured.

Additionally, the event, which promises to be a networking opportunity for thousands of Christian communicators, will host eight specialized summits to help participants, such as church media professionals, pastors, filmmakers and students, enhance their work and ministry.

One highlight of this year's convention will likely be the presidential candidates forum, which will broadcast live on television and radio. Before a studio audience, panelists will interview presidential candidates regarding issues important to Evangelicals.

"The forum will be one way Christian communicators and their audiences can become better educated about the men and women who aspire to the highest government office in the United States," reads a press release for the event.

NRB will provide complimentary "Press" registration to Christian bloggers willing to devote significant coverage of Proclaim 16 in the form of blog posts, videos, etc., on their website or blog. The event also includes a Job Board, which features postings of job announcements, resumes, and available internships.

"You will come away motivated, inspired, and challenged to hone your skills and knowledge in an even greater way to impact the world for Jesus Christ", promises the Proclaim 16 website.
