Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry recently visited Bobbi Kristina Brown at Peachtree Christian Hospice near Atlanta, Georgia, to pay his respects to the daughter of the-late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown amid reports that the 22-year-old's family is making preparations for her funeral.

Perry, 45, visited Bobbi Kristina's bedside for two hours on June 28 at the hospice center where she's being cared for after being taken off life support late last month, according to People Magazine.

Bobbi Kristina has been hospitalized since Jan. 31 after being found unconscious in a bathtub at the Georgia home she shared with her boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Despite having received what her aunt, Pat Houston, described as "great medical care" at the various medical facilities, Bobbi's condition failed to improve and subsequently, she was moved into hospice care last Wednesday.

"She's skin and bones now. She has been losing weight, she's been losing hair. They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down," a family source explained.

In light of the tragic situation, Bobbi Kristina's family is in the process of picking out a burial plot in a Westfield, New Jersey cemetery for the young woman, a report from Extra claimed.

Aside from Perry, Bobbi Kristina's family and friends have surrounded her bedside over the past week, including Pat Houston and Bobby Brown's sister, Tina.

"Everybody is in a peaceful place. There's no bad blood," Tina's son, Shayne, explained to E! News of his family putting aside their differences. "Everyone's just coming together in honor of Krissi. We're all family."

It is unclear what exactly occurred in the events leading up to the young woman being found face-down in a bathtub. However, Police in Roswell reportedly launched a criminal investigation into Bobbi's case in recent months amid concerns of "foul play" among Brown's family members.

Bobbi's mother, Whitney Houston, died in 2012 and was also found unresponsive in a bathtub. A coroner ruled her death an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.

Perry reportedly had a close friendship with the troubled popstar and revealed on Oprah's Next Chapter in 2013 that he had fought to help the singer through her addiction issues.

"I felt a huge responsibility for her," he told Winfrey about Houston. "From the first day we sat down in that restaurant and had a conversation where she was so open with me, I felt a responsibility to do all I could to help her."

He added, "I sensed, like most people who deal with people who have addiction issues, they sense that there is a 'death day' coming."

According to Perry, he promised Houston's family to support them regardless of what the future holds.

"[I was] standing with them whenever they need it," he said.

In the past, Perry has taken to social media to defend Bobbi Kristina, who once held a guest spot on his TBS show For Better or Worse back in 2012 after Houston died.

"Please leave this baby alone! And she is a baby," the director, actor and producer wrote of Bobbi Kristina, who at the time was making headlines for allegedly gambling illegally and engaging in drug use last year.

"Please stop the lies and give this child some room to breathe and grieve. If it was your child wouldn't you want that?"
